Description
The usual flaws are present: hidden hand&weird anatomy, awkward pose, nonsensical drapery, nondescriptive&lazy background, absurdress and coloring of the type "I have no idea what I'm doing".
All that said, I had fun!
I used some reference for the only visible hand, everything else was done without any (and that shows).
Done mostly in watercolors
Simplistic, she says...
One of the big points to finishing a piece of artwork, is to know exactly when to stop adding things. When to prevent overloading a picture. You've done just that. The flowly dress, the gemstone jewelry, the feathers, she's detailed aplenty! I'm loving it, especially the face, looks like you've done a lot of work on the way you're drawing faces, it's very subtle, yet incredibly obvious to me at the same time. I like where you're going.
If I had to offer any sort of criticism, it's the folding on the fabric covering her hand. For some reason, when I look at it, I feel like we should be seeing a bit more of her fingers' contours, like she was holding on to it from inside? As for the Nonsensical drapery bit... she's floating, drapes and folds don't usually make a lot of sense that way.
