2016 DOA Designer's Challenge entry for Mila

My Halloween costume concept for Mila in Dead or Alive 5

Team Ninja held a costume design challenge this year as well, and I participated with six entries, this is my second one. (The first one was for  Honoka.)

They are not particularly well polished in terms of anatomy etc., because I wanted to express my design idea first of all (and finish them all on time, something that I struggled with in the previous contests). I participated through Twitter, so you see here my Twitter handle (@ChromarinArt) instead of my usual signature.

Design notes: I thought that this idea would be very unoriginal (Mila is Spanish and what is more stereotypically Spanish than a torero?), but at least on Twitter I saw only one flamenco-Mila. I ditched the hat though and added instead a rose for that feminine charm to contrast the rather typically masculine attire. Loose tie is due to Mila having that relaxed look in many of her outfits, she is the opposite of uptight, after all!
